Valve Speaks Up

Half Life 2 Orange Box was one of the most rewarding gaming experiences of 2007. It had countless hours of fun, intriguing gameplay and 5 different hit games that all delivered in their own way. After witnessing the amazing and dramatic ending of episode 2, I have been wondering what was next for Valve. Of course, they have been hard at work on their new multiplayer, horror game "Left 4 Dead" but what is the status of Half Life 2: Episode 3? The ending of episode 2 was a cliffhanger to say the least. Today I happened to watch an episode of Gametrailers TV and was shocked to see an exclusive interview with Gabe Newell, the co-founder of Valve Studios. Surprisingly, Geoff Keighley's persistent nagging of game developers paid off this time in the Gabe Newell basically confirmed the existence of Episode 3. He went on to say that Episode 3 will contain a lot of new content and do things technically that gamers have never seen before. He also confirmed that there will be an ever better version of the gravity gun for players to get the mits on. He didn't go into a lot of detail but you could tell that Geoff was a little shocked that his own badgering tactics worked this time around. Episode 3 is coming and boy is it gonna be cool. Thats all I got for now.
