So this week has seen some pretty significant announcements from Sony.
.)First and foremost, the release date of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots has been confirmed for June 12, 2008.
.) In related news, Sony also announced that the 80 GB PS3 is in fact, still alive and kicking but will be re-released in a new, clean MGS4 bundle pack. This is actually the first awesome bundle pack I have seen in a long time. If anyone was wondering when PS3 sales will finally start to pick up, this is more than likely your answer. We will discuss this on our next show as well.
.) Haze seems to finally have a firm release window of May 2008. They didn't announce an actual date which is probably just in case they need a little bit of wiggle room at the last second.
.) Sony also unveiled a new limited edition red PSP that will be bundled with God of War: Chains of Olympus. Looks cool but I personally think that the PSP is not a system that is meant to be produced in bright colors like red. It is still nice to see that the PSP is making a fierce comeback after years of mediocre performance.
